On February 21, 2025 the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lukashevich, participated in the opening ceremony of the office of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Uganda. Katongole Marwaha was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Belarus.
The event was attended by representatives of business and public circles, Kampala City administration and mass media.
In his speech, S.Lukashevich noted that the priority areas of the Honorary Consul’s work will be activation of trade and economic relations, development of interstate dialogue and expansion of relations between business representatives of Belarus and Uganda.
