Until they stop changing it and then 20 years down the line the headline will be “majority of Germans in favour of the return of clock changes”
I really don’t care about clock changes itself, but I’m annoyed by the constant discussion that happens like clockwork (pun intended) every 6 months, so I hope they get rid of it for that reason alone.
My money is on this European Parliament decision never getting implemented.
I wouldn’t mind scrapping it but it seems like a big hassle. Anybody think it will ever be done?
Would this be a General EU change or just in Germany. It would make sense if all EU countries done this.
There was some momentum to ditch the clock change last year EU wide but it doesn’t look like there’s any easy consensus across all countries on whether we’d go for full summer or full winter time.
I hope we’ll end up sticking to “winter” time (normal time). Might be placebo, but every year I get worse sleep during the summer time period.
Isn’t it done because of the environment?
