    The UK, France, and Germany must defend it.
    Not one inch of the Baltics will be touched.

  3. He’s attempted a hostile takeover of US government; it doesn’t work like that, Trump is going to either get shot or deposed and sentenced. Imperatives and hatefulness have a short lifetime.

  4. Not just him, We, Europe too, … For once could we rally and do the right thing like, reevaluate any signed paper with the US, Europe gave so much away for US protection, this should be the time to make things right.

It’s only a matter of time there is a despot on the loose, it won’t end well, alienation of his own people will resolve this in the short term, We in Europe must ignore his madness as more than half of the USA will agree with us, it’s been established there is only 50 people in total who have to get on the next rocket so Europe can return to normal, hence we should simply decide our own plan and tell him to literally get stuffed with his own stupidity and we should help Ukraine to retain it’s land

  8. Betrayed? So this guy is suppose to have an open checkbook from the USA? The EU coalition gave him $39B in loans & nothing in Military funding. Individual countries have but the USA has funded 10X more at the very least.

    Why don’t some of you go look at what the Ukranian Military was doing in the Donbass for 8 years prior to the war….20,000 people killed. He has established himself as a dictator, no elections but has a 5% approval rating. He has been given almost $500b & can’t account for 1/2 of it.

    However I am awaiting Europes decision on what to do next and I sincerely hope European leaders do not follow same or similar path as the USA.

  14. This isn’t about the US v Europe. I don’t believe that relationship will ever be truly broken. We have enabled the defense of each other for far too long. And in many ways, we are Europe’s child. Many of us are only 1-3 generations apart from our ancestors that emigrated.

    This is about those who belief in multicultural democracy and those that don’t. And those boundaries are not geographic. Trump, AfD, Putin, Orban, Erdogan, etc. are the villains here. Let’s not go after each other.

  20. I was talking to a mate about Ukraine and i realised that Zelensky is only leader i have seen in my life in the same league as someone like Churchill. A generational leader of a nation. The Ukrainian People have shown themselves to be lions and Zelensky personifies their strength and courage.

  27. Trump didn’t “side” with Putin, he just keeps it real and acts based on reality .

    Ukraine have indeed lost alot of territory, there is no realistic way they ever get them back without dragging nato into the war which USA doesn’t want, they are also not going to just leave the front lines and give the territories back out of the kindness of their hearts . Putin won’t get ousted as a president and Ukraine don’t hold any big cards at this point where they have negotiating power to get anything back .

    This isn’t a betrayal this is Trump trying to end the war even if it means USA and Ukraine and Europe having to suck up their pride for a bit and admit that they should have tried to negotiate before jumping the guns…

    The other option Trump would have had is keep the stalemate war with people dying every day on the front, keep supplying weapons but without giving enough power to escalate the war and have this war go for another 5 years with Ukraine likely losing more territories in the process…

    Both Europe and USA have shown that they are not willing to send their own people to fight and die on the front, and Russia have not shown they are so exhausted that they will fold to the point they return any territory

    You may not like Trump and he is no perfect in any means but he is clearly being the voice of reason here trying to negotiate some type of end of the conflict and going that Putin will return the favor and also give some reasonable terms

    War have never been fair in human history and sometimes is best to admit defeat to cut your losses while you still can

  30. Die USA reduzieren ihren Militär Haushalt und focusieren auf Zukunftsregionen wie Asien Pacific. Die USA zahlen mehr an Zinsen für ihre Schulden, als für ihr gesamtes Militärbudget.

    Die USA und Russland haben zudem eine gemeinsame Grenze im Pacific. Ein Krieg mit Russland ist auch ein Krieg im Pacific. Letztendlich können die USA nicht ihre Ressourcen in Europa kumulieren, und ihre Gebiete in Asien Pacific und Arctic Regionen ungeschützt lassen. Das gleiche gilt für Canada, die Hälfte Canadas liegt am Pacific.

    Diese Problematik ist in den vergangenen Jahren von mehreren US Präsidenten angesprochen worden, daß die Europäer mehr für ihre eigene Verteidigung tun müssen, und auf eigenen Füßen stehen müssen.

    Kein europäischer Politiker hat gesagt, er schickt Kampf Truppen in die Ukraine. Die reden von Friedenstruppen, nach einem Abkommen. Die Ukraine hat keine Soldaten mehr, und der Krieg ist ökonomisch nicht mehr zu rechtfertigen, und hat sich zu einem nicht mehr zu vertretenen Schlachthaus für Junge Menschen beider Konflikt Parteien entwickelt.

    Wer soll die Ukraine wieder aufbauen, wenn die jungen, ausgebildeten Ukrainer im Krieg getötet und verkrüppelt worden sind. Wer bezahlt für die Milliarden/Trilliarden für den Wiederaufbau. Die europäische Wirtschafts schwächelt.

    Die Bevölkerung ist jahrelang von den Medien für dumm verkauft worden. Die Medien kontrollieren die Politiker, die Medien sind die Königsmacher. Die Partien Finanzierung ist nur ein Tropfen auf den heißen Stein.

    Anstatt world of Warcraft am Computer zu spielen, sollt ihr euch lieber mit micro und macro economics befassen…

  31. As a US citizen I have never been so ashamed of my country. Every day since January 20 has been like a nightmare and I don’t expect that to change unless and until that soulless husk is back in hell, from whence he came.

  33. How did the US betray Ukraine when we’re still sending weapons to Ukraine along with a special envoy???? You can hate Trump all you like but it doesn’t change the reality of what the US is doing right now.

  34. Honestly, I just think that at some point, if the US starts supplying Russia with equipment, the US oil industry should disappear. And any other military-industrial complex facilities that can be reached. Plus early warning radars or simple radars. Basically, we’ll have to do what we do in Russia.

  35. It’s our fault to have depended on the Americans for this long. If anything, we’ve betrayed ourselves for becoming as comfortable as we have. It’s unfortunate what happened, but we should move on and build a new future without the US if not a great deal less.
