  1. Politics is thirsty work. I hope they weren’t running a tab.

  2. Sure there was probably a scrum at the bar every time the Dail was suspended. 15 minutes is basically a half time pint

  3. So what. Why is this is the fucking news.

We struggle to find good people to enter politics. So we really think that putting every aspect of their behaviour under a microscope will make the job more attractive to smart people?

  4. If there are pints going you would be a fool not to indulge.

  5. 150 rounds of drinks

What the Journal doesn’t confirm, no surprise, is that a round of water or coke or soft drink would be included in those 150

    What a f**king rag

    The daily outrage strikes again

Seriously people, if you are sharing this shit you need to have a long hard look at yourself

  6. How much is it for a pint in there? I’d suspect it’s subsidised

  7. 174 dail members, name the 24 tight arses that didn’t buy a round

  8. I’d need a drink after putting up with all those cunts as well.

  9. Genuinely why does there need to be a bar? Does it serve alcohol while votes / work is done? I genuinely don’t like the idea of votes / decisions being made under the influence

  10. What the fuck is a round as a measure unit?

Is that just a till transaction so a round could be a TD buying a Club Orange?

Or is there a defined minimum drinks per order?

The only mertic we have is that the public cost per round is €11.43

That price per round equal 1137 rounds at the members bar which matches the over 1,000 reported that may not include the 3 busiest days mentioned.

So that would be approx two pints of Guinness per round.

So 300 pints that day or 1.72 pints per TD

  11. I’d drink a lot too if I had to work with the people in there.
