No, the land has been cleared, our priorities are just way off.
I think the answer is obvious. All golf courses should be required to harvest solar and kinetic energy.
Ok..I’m all for mitigating climate change…but I’m saying “so what” to this post…People still gotta have some fun and relax too.
Golf is the cocaine of ‘sports’ it’s just a thing for people with too much money.
I’m not sure these two things are related in a practical sense.
I know I’m going to get downvoted on this but What’s the practical takeaway or argument here? Governments should buy golf courses for windmill farms? What else fits this category? Should they buy up theme parks? Wineries? Parking lots?
If we mandate to get rid of golf courses, the actual use of that land is going to generally be commercial real estate, housing, or some other development that is revenue generating….not sure that is better.
