How are these tough rules? Makes it sound like it’s going to be a real big deal for people not to take photos whilst driving down the M25. Or organising your Spotify playlist for your mates birthday party that weekend, whilst doing 80 down the motorway. Just don’t use your phone when driving
They’re not “tough new rules” they’ve closed some loopholes. I dont think most people won’t find it hard, not to play mobile games while driving. These local rags all post the same bullshit articles about driving rules, including stuff that’s years, if not decades old.
Don’t touch your phone for any reason while driving. You can use it to pay at drive throughs. You may use it to call emergency services. You may use Siri. You may use it as a satnav. Keep your phone either out of sight or in a dock.
Saved you a click into what I’m sure is an ad-infested and poorly written local rag.
Yesterday saw at least 4 drivers using their phones…. nothing is changing
It’s amazing how many drivers of brand new cars I see using their phones. I’ve had either Bluetooth or such as Apple play in my cars for the last 10 years so I’ve never driven with my phone out, always connected or in a cradle for sat nav. So I don’t get why new car drivers especially big pricy SUVs drive around on their phones. Anecdotal but still.
Aww feck it, that’s the end of my Candy Crush session whilst motoring along the M5. These tough new rules are a infringement of my human rights I tell ya.
