A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with the discovery of a cannabis factory in north Belfast last year.
It was found in June 2024 at a commercial warehouse on the Limestone Road. Police now say the estimated street value of the plants was more than £1.5m.
The accused is charged with cultivating cannabis, conspiracy to cultivate cannabis, conspiracy to supply a Class B controlled drug and intimidation of a witness.
He was due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
Police said that two men, a 32-year old who was arrested in County Down last year and a 25-year-old man arrested in London last year, are both currently on remand in relation to the investigation.

“PSNI wastes hundreds of hours and thousands in taxpayer money investigating the growth of a harmless natural plant that’s legal in half the world”
He’s currently on 42.0%
Gotta stop arresting our industrious entrepreneurs if we want growth and prosperity
£1.5m?! .. “I do wonder what street it is you’re buying your cocaine on, because it’s not the same street as I’m buying my cocaine on.”
Will there be a police auction to purchase the confiscated plants

It’s a gateway drug you know. One day you’ll be toking on a fat doobie the next you’ll be sucking for crack.
lol bet some of the peelers end up selling it or smoking it while bucking each others partners.
Are they gonna give it to the homeless to justify letting people smoke it?
The whole area smells of GREEN
Perfect disguise
