  3. 31 Billion of research and development in one year is mind boggling. They’ve come up with some great stuff in recent years – Apple Silicon, and no doubt their Augmented Reality work is extremely expensive. But 31 billion for one year just sounds so hard to spend.

    According to Wikipedia that is roughly Poland’s annual defense spending. Apple’s R&D expenditure would be the 14th highest defense expenditure in the world.
