Saw an old guy selling some old currency at a flea-market, bought a 50 Goldmark and a 10000 Papiermark at a negligible price.
So, do these have any significance in terms of collector's item or historical item? Or are they fairly common finds?
NB: Not trying to make any money or sell, just trying to understand if they are worth keeping as collection.

  1. I have a few billon mark notes at home, I think every old German house has them.

So guess the worth of them …

  2. Both bills together are worth somewhere around 8€, according to a quick google search.

  3. It’s what we call inflation money. Inflation was really high in the 1920s in Germany. There were notes with 1 million RM.
