  2. It’s pretty crazy in the current climate a willing A-list from a movie that did its numbers is pushing for a sequel and DC is dragging their feet. And Keanu Reeves’s nonetheless. He’s probably willing to take a hit on salary, or take risk a producer?

    There are truly inconceivable things in the movie industry.

  5. The other day was 20 years since Constantine came out, and they’re only JUST working on a script? 

    At this point, they should have already settled on several scripts, at various budget levels at that: From the cheap lower 10’s way up to the bloated 100’s of millions.

  6. You have to start the actual story if you do it. I love Keanu but you have to get someone with an authentic Liverpool accent to take the role and run with it for a long time. I would love if they started over. Gunn could do amazing things with this character.

  8. Man countless A grade story lines to choose from and adapt upon in the comics, Keanu is one of the biggest names in the business, how haven’t they done this yet? Oh please oh please.

  10. Before I’d seen any of the other Constantine stuff I would have wanted this but I think I’d like to see a comic accurate version get a shot at a movie.

  12. The scenes of Hell really hits hard, it’s terrifying.

  14. Have him be originally from England and return there at the request of his estranged sister to help extract her daughter from some doings with local ne’er do wells and get involved in local supernatural chicanery. Fish out of water story but it’s American Constantine adrift in Liverpool.
