I want to see a ceasefire and a deal, – Trump

He hopes to achieve "in a short time" an agreement on the obligations of Ukraine in the matter of compensation (!) to the US for $400-500 billion.

Trump said that Washington has provided Ukraine with $67 billion in weapons and $31.5 billion in direct budget support throughout the war.

That is, he admitted that the money hasn't been lost in the hands of the Ukrainian authorities. And they gave us not 350 billion, as he himself had previously stated.

But the question is: 67 + 31.5 = 98.5 BILLION WE WERE GIVEN, BUT HE WANTS 500 BACK?

  1. Ukraine can choose how it wants. But only Ukraine, this in no way secures a peace.

  2. How dare Ukraine inconvenience the US by getting themselves invaded

  3. I still don’t get what he offers. They can surrender and pay 500 billion. Or they can surrender and not pay 500 billion.
Surely I must miss something about this deal since either way you lose but signing the deal is worse. So why the fuck would they sign it?

  4. He smiles like the Joker

  5. It’s pretty much: “hold still while Us and Russia have our way with you.” I can’t imagine why President Zelenskyy would not embrace this…/s

  6. It’s the right thing to do. The right thing. See we’ve spent all that money, all that good money, hard working american tax dollars, all spent on a war that we did not want. A war that we did not start, you know, the Ukrinians started it, they could have struck a deal, you know, all the lives. Wasted. It’s a waste, of course the loan has interest that must be repaid, it’s the least they can do. And you know what, the ungratefull dictator asks for more. It’s never enough for him. If I were president at the time, the war would have never started. Never started. I assure you, he’s been losing his country since day one. It was stupid of Zelenskyy to not strike a deal before lives were lost, stupid. Senseless. Would have never happened if I were president. Never.

Said Trump, when Arty_beaver asked about it at a press conference in two days.

  7. I get: $500 billion, daddy Putin’s admiration

    You get: nothing

    Do you accept?

  9. Where is Europe’s offer?

Really pissing me off that the EU has had these emergency meetings and not offered a solid alternative for Ukraine.

  10. If you were president it would all go down lol if you act like your daddy trump

  11. Here’s a crazy idea.

Force Russia to surrender and to pay hundreds of billions in reparations.

  12. The “compensation” for the US giving Ukraine security assistance was Ukraine giving up its nucelear arsenal.

  13. That clown is going to make damages if we don’t stop him

  14. So he wants 4 or 500 billion in exchange for 98.5 billion they have given them ? Also correct me if I m wrong but wasn’t the money used for Ukraine from seized russian assets?

  15. The muppetshow spoke again 😂 what the hell is that guy on

  16. What about the compensation for Ukraine from Russia! Using the Trump “logic” (or rather abcence of) then his bff Putin had better start signing over all the gas / oil fields to Ukraine and the rare earth metals to Europe as reperasions for simply Putin being a skid mark on trumps big baggy by-fronts. Great businessman Trump, my toe has better business acumen but unfortunately isn’t a pedo /, sex offender, fraud, bankrupt / shit faced lowest point in American history. as for Putin he will rot in hell!!

  17. Less then a week after his puffed up threats and positioning he starts backtracking.
Now he wants a “ceasefire and a deal”. Next week he’ll say that Zelensky is a nice guy and not a dictator. A month from now, military aid.

  18. Fuck Trump, I hope Ukraine won’t sign anything from this fraudster. He wants to plunder their resources while they try to defend themselves from the aggressor! What a MF!

  19. Zelensky needs to call Trump’s bluff. This has always been about one thing—Ukraine’s rare earth minerals. Putin wants them, and now Trump does too. Ukraine is being exploited for its resources.

If I were advising Zelensky, I’d urge him to stand firm. The U.S. cannot afford to let Russia gain control over these critical minerals, which are essential for global technology. If Zelensky refuses Trump’s demands and commits to fighting on, he can challenge the U.S. to consider the consequences—allowing a Russia-China-Iran-North Korea alliance to dominate these resources would be a strategic disaster for America.

This is a major leverage point for Ukraine. I hope his advisors recognize it. Zelensky must call the bluff.

  20. But if that means 400 billion is coming to make it equal you make that trade. The only way you can spend that much is if us troops and jets are involved. If that happens this war is over in 5 months

  21. This is so complicated but the war in Russian and Ukraine will never end

  22. Sure don, come get it. I invite you to come to the frontline and collect your pay personally.

  23. Europe has got to step it up now. This could be great for European manufacturing. It’s exactly what Germany, France and the UK needs to get back in the game. Nordic countries have deep pockets, and the Finnish know both how to make the right ammo, and how to beat the Russians. A united Europe can more than outmatch the Russians without the help of the US.
