  1. Got another three fights lined up for today.

    2 vicars and a weatherman

  2. Been dogsitting since yesterday – took him out for a quick mile walk earlier on but around midday when it’s brighter and warmer will take him for a longer one – maybe three or four miles down the local canal. He goes home this afternoon and then I can watch Italy Vs France in the Six Nations.

  3. I’m going to dress as Rapunzel, climb a tower, and let down my hair.

  4. Taking the kids to a local fort at 10am then to the shop for some snacks so we can watch a movie at home

  5. Woke up earlier than I expected after a few beer yesterday and last night, plans for today are to put some miles on my walking boots by going across the cliff tops and to the pub for a carvery

  6. I’m recovering from being ghosted. Being kind to myself and doing some work before going to see a friend this afternoon.

  7. On my way home from seeing Phantogram – killer gig. Saw Justice a couple weeks ago as well, they were awesome too. Next up Dear Rouge and Mogwai in April.

Don’t know what I’m going to do tomorrow my time (Sunday), think I need to do laundry and the dishwasher needs emptying… might watch Grand Theft Hamlet on Mubi.

  8. Hoping the Mrs feels well enough to eat something today. It’s been 2 weeks of the super flu and it’s just tonsillitis holding her back now, so that’s our only aim, get a couple of spoons of mash in her!

Update: awake and “nowhere near as bad.” I honestly can’t wait to have my family back the way it should be!

  9. Off to Church to pray for peace, love, unity and healing for the sick.

Then shopping, some work, cleaning, washing the cat, exercise and healthy eating.

    Welcoming spring!!!!!

  10. I am going to sainsburys at 930 to get my shopping and check out 10 on the dot when the tills open. Whilst I’m doing that I will leave my car with the Romanians to wash the outside of it. Get home, unpack, put some washing on, clean the cats litter out, take a shower and then I will spend the rest of the day in full recline mode in my chair, playing avowed and partaking in some devils lettuce….to finish the day I will order a takeaway as I will be too lazy to cook the food I bought in the morning, which I will then feel guilty for as I tuck into my takeaway and go to bed far too late with indigestion

  11. Cleaning out the cupboard under the stairs while listening to an audio book, and roasting a chicken

  12. Pancake breakfast with friends, birthday lunch with family, long drive home this evening.

  13. I run a Disability Football Club. All 3 of our teams have games today back to back so I’m out of the house from 10.30am and hopefully might make it back to watch Man City vs Liverpool this evening.

  14. Dog walk, bouldering session and then hopefully continue my quest to find the best roast by me.

  15. Feeling slightly hungover, but I think it’s more because of the very salty food than an excess of booze.

Yoga a bit later, and nothing else planned. Woo.

  16. Have been summoned to lunch with the in-laws. Hoping to make that fairly quick as I want a decent chunk of time to gently organise myself and the kids for the upcoming week, including cooking the week’s dinners. Pain levels are ridiculous and standing around cooking doesn’t appeal but that means it will appeal even less in the week when I’ve been at work all day so better to get it done today!

  17. Growing up with regular TV I would rank the different TV networks as follows:

    1. BBC
    2. ITV
    3. Channel 4
    4. Channel 5 (A distant 4th)

Now I have Netflix and Disney+ and the rankings go as follows:

    1. Channel 4
    2. Disney+
    3. BBC
    4. Netflix

I cannot remember the last time I clicked on ITV or Channel 5

    What about you?

  18. Go for a tramp in the woods.  Then finish reading a book about Ed Wood (Nightmare Of Ecstacy.)

  19. Brother and sister in law came over last night and we were up till midnight chatting.

Toddler woke me up at 5.45am. So tired… So very tired.

Thank god I don’t drink any more, I couldn’t handle a hangover right now.

Good old Bluey is keeping us company this morning.

  20. Waiting at the hospital to have a camera stuck up my ass, happy Sunday 😫

  21. Finish painting the hall. Watch a nice neutral game of rugby to hopefully wash away the pain of yesterday.

Other than that, total laziness and continue binging Lost. Weather’s horrible and windy so it feels like a good sofa day (well after the painting anyway)

  22. Think I’ll watch a few episodes of Father Ted. Then go for a walk, followed by enjoying being alive

  23. Off to the big Boots later on to stock up on holiday essentials, so sunblock recommendations would be greatly appreciated – I’m taking mum to Florida for her 80th next month and it’s been so long since we’ve been to anywhere decently sunny that I’ve forgotten what sunblocks (factor 30-50 ideally with the UVA-C stuff in) are any good.

If you want to stretch your grey cells instead, here’s a pub quiz question I came up with years ago for a mate’s “impossible pub quiz”:

In the BBC TV show Doctor Who, how many actors have played the character credited on screen as “Doctor Who”? (will accept “Dr. Who” and “Doctor Who” as credits). Bonus points if you can name them all.

  24. Driving to and then exhibiting at a wedding fair in Sheffield. Purchasing some cakey treats at the fair, then driving two hours back home to a Sunday dinner with the folks. Although it will be Sunday evening meal by the time we get back.

  25. We’re watching Shawn the Sheep this morning then going to the mother in laws for a bit. Home for lunch and the 5 year old has asked if we can go to the garden centre later (his favourite place) so we’ll probably pop there too.

  26. The dog woke me up at 5 am again so took him out for a walk.Im going out later for a carvery with my husband later.I have rosacea and it’s really flared up so decided to cover it with make up today normally don’t bother and my hot flushes will probably melt it away but it’s making me feel better.I will probably food coma nap later as always eat too much roast dinner.

  27. We were up at 6 am as my husband is running in a 10k that starts at 9.30 am. We usually stay overnight close by but didn’t this time so it was a bit of a shock having to leave so early haha.

  28. I love Sundays. My kids are with their dad today, and I’m recovering from surgery, so not much planned. I’m going to bake some shortbread, clean through, change all the beds and do a pedicure.

  29. Probably making a bourguignon or goulash or pot roast; haven’t decided yet; thinking mashed potatoes as an accompaniment, but roasties aren’t off the table.

  30. Garden centre and a Homebase that’s closing down, 10 years ago me is asking where it all went wrong 😂

  31. Finishing the nightshift in half an hour – going home to do some admin for next week then taking the doggo out to a play park x

  32. Digesting coffee, toast and the drugs that keep me alive. Later, Beloved will go to watch the grandson at rugby, while I wait in for our new kitchen.

  33. Eldest is a mascot for the local women’s team today, taking #2 to go watch.

They’re playing against my hometown team tho so rather split loyalties!

  34. I won’t be going to Broadway Tower.
I’ve got a mate coming round and we’re going to reduce the height of a leylandii hedge at my Mum’s house. I’m just drinking a gallon of coffee in preparation.

  35. Me and my hangover are going to be staying in bed for at least a couple more hours. Will maybe order take out for breakfast
