Reality check for Resume

  1. Look for a German format. Languages? Visa situation? How good are your skills? What was your bachelor grade? Etc.

  2. What’s your actual question? In Berlin the resume seems fine as it is as we speak English in software jobs here and nobody cares about your university grade if you already have a few years of practical experience. It will be assumed that you will need to get a Blue Card visa, but if you have EU citizenship or residency already then make that clear, since it can impact how long it will take before you can legally begin working.

In general if you’re sending out resumes you are only getting the scraps that can’t be filled through personal connections either due to bad management or them looking for niche skills. If you want to get a good job you should be meeting hiring managers at meetups or other interactions so that you can skip the HR BS lottery.
