Truly prophetic. Who knew that Americans could become so illiterate, ignorant of their own history, world history in the last one hundred years, and their own Constitution in just ten years? I used to agonize about how grandparents became Nazis, but Americans have explained it to me!
To be fair, George the 3rd was also really dumb and maybe insane. We just had a 2000 mile moat and crossing it took 6 months and could only be done in summer. Also france and Prussia wanted to fuck with england
King George III was literally insane, though I don’t think it really hit him until the 1790’s. Not defending Trump, but saying that they had the experience and revolution was their solution.
