  6. Trump will give this judge the middle finger, just like he did to McConnell in Rhode Island and Ali in Washington, DC. They will instead just go program by program and “terminate for convenience”any grant they want.

    Unfortunately every (virtually every, anyway) federal grant has that language written into it.

    So long as the correct CFR’s allowing for termination, there is nothing a judge can do about it.

    Also, going forward, there will be 0 dollars awarded. We are only fighting over grants already approved.

    At some point a judge is going to have to take a stand and hold Trump in contempt and appoint a special master to oversee the department or agency. That is the only solution.

  16. I got into a long debate with a maga family member and they’re now saying that those laid off at the federal level need to get a real job and when told that will increase unemployment benifits, they’re answer is “doge will take care of it.”

    They’re also interested in abolishing usps because it doesn’t turn a profit and Elon said it can be cut. When asked if the mail carriers should get a real job, they said yes.

    When asked if the military should be defunded since they turn a profit, they say no.

    So, anything musk and Elon says is gold to them
