  2. As a cameo , where he’s sitting down and says something like “it’s just crazy enough to work” after the protagonists heartfelt plea falls on deaf ears at some kind of federation council I would love it .

    But they’ll probably cgi his face onto an anthropomorphic Tribble that has a terribly written story arc.

  3. I used to think he looked good for being 80 something. Now he looks GREAT for being in his 90s. Wow.

  4. I mean, I kinda get why he wants to return, because his demise in *Generations* wasn’t necessarily great. And he probably saw how well S3 of *Picard* was received. But quite frankly, I don’t see what project he should/could return in. Don’t get me wrong, I hope for him to live as long as possible, but him headlining an entire movie or miniseries just seems too much for a 93 year old man. 

    Besides that, S3 of *Picard* worked because they were able to cash in on the nostalgia of seeing the entire *Next Generation* crew together again, but sadly most of the OG cast has passed away already. I mean, you could pair him up with George Takei but then again, for what reason? Unless they somehow get their shit quickly together and give us Star Trek 4 in the Kelvin timeline with Shatner and Takei returning similar to Nimoy in the previous movies.
