This morning, as I sit on a plane bound for Las Vegas, I can’t help but reflect on the journey that has brought me here. I’m heading to the RE/MAX R4 Global Convention, where I’ll have the incredible opportunity to speak on stage and share insights with real estate professionals from all over the world. It’s a moment that feels both humbling and surreal.
I got my real estate license in 2018, and like many who start in this industry, I was part-time at first, balancing work and life while figuring out my path. In 2021 in the midst of Covid and uncertainty, I made the leap to full-time, fully committing to serving homeowners and investors throughout Newport County and the rest of Rhode Island. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients find success—whether that meant buying their first home, selling a cherished family property, or securing an investment that would shape their future. Last year alone, I sold 44 homes and completed 51 rental transactions, but these numbers only tell part of the story.
Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions a person will make—but more importantly, it’s one of the most emotional. We often talk about the “D’s of real estate”: death, divorce, diapers, diamonds, and downsizing. All of these represent major life chapters, and they need to be approached with empathy and care. Coming from a hospitality background, I’ve always believed my business is built on service, not sales. Real estate isn’t about pushing someone into a deal—it’s about listening, guiding, and helping them make the right decisions for their unique situation. I think that approach is what has separated me in a crowded room and allowed me to grow my business entirely by referral. When someone trusts me enough to recommend my services to a friend or family member, that means everything. It’s a testament to the work I’ve put in and the care I take with every transaction. Last year, I helped my brother Trevor and my cousin Sarah purchase homes here in Rhode Island. I helped keep a local family on the island, a goal that they thought was impossible when we first started searching for homes. These type of transactions are my “why’s” in business, and it’s what gets my out of bed and excited to get to work each morning.
Looking ahead, I see tremendous opportunities for both buyers and sellers in 2025. Inventory is expected to increase, but competition remains strong, meaning buyers will still find themselves in multiple-offer situations through the spring and summer. That’s why having professional representation is more important than ever. There is no substitute for guidance from someone who understands market dynamics, negotiation strategy, and pricing analytics. Just this past weekend, we hosted open houses for two properties I listed—317 Berkeley Avenue in Middletown and 451 Westmoreland Lane in Saunderstown. The response was overwhelming. We had over 45 buyer parties through 317 Berkeley alone, and both homes are poised to sell over asking price with multiple offers. That’s not by chance—it’s strategy. I take a data-driven, analytical approach to pricing and combine it with strong marketing and exposure (including my partnership with WhatsUpNewp) to ensure every listing reaches the widest pool of ready, willing, and able buyers. The goal is always to create a competitive environment that maximizes value for my sellers.
Beyond my own production, I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building at RE/MAX Results. When we opened our doors in September 2023, our vision was clear: we wanted a brokerage built on community focus and results-driven service. Today, with over 35 agents serving all of Rhode Island, we’re delivering on that promise. Our agents aren’t just selling homes in elite price points—they’re committed to working with all buyers and sellers, ensuring that everyone, regardless of budget, has access to top-tier service and expertise. We are located at 67 Valley Road in Middletown, please feel free to stop by our office anytime.
As I prepare to touch down in Las Vegas, I feel nothing but gratitude. Gratitude for my clients who trust me with such an important part of their lives. Gratitude for the team that makes every success possible. And gratitude for the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and sharing what I’ve learned with others in this industry.
If you’re thinking about any property related moves this year, I’d love to have a conversation about how we can make your real estate goals a reality. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about transactions—it’s about people, relationships, and helping others move forward.
