  1. The head of the Israeli air force said that they should use 42 bunker busters to carry out the assassination. Defense minister Gallant reportedly said “42 isn’t enough. Double it and make it 84. I don’t want there to be a chance he walks out of this alive.” 84 fucking bunker busters…

    Today was Nasrallah’s funeral. In one last “Fuck you” Israel flew the fighter jets that dropped the bombs, over the funeral that was being held. Talk about competitive disrespect.

  2. They always post these videos saying they depict the killing of a single person and then the footage shows them blowing up everything in a 3 block radius…
    I think you got more than just the person you were targeting….

For those interested, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry, 33 people were killed, including Ali Karaki, the commander of Hezbollah’s Southern Front; other senior Hezbollah commanders; and Abbas Nilforoushan, deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and commander of the Quds Force in Lebanon. There were also many Hezbollah members in the headquarters as well. Nasrallah’s body was recovered from the rubble. Israel believes the death toll the be higher based on their intelligence that the headquarters had many more in the bunker at the time and guards in the apartment building above.

    According to Reuters, “Israeli military issued three alerts for residents of the area to immediately evacuate.” At least some are known to have ignored the orders and were injured or killed in the blast. But the vast majority of civilians left following the three warnings — this is also evidenced by the initial reports from that day saying that only 7 people had died in the obviously massive explosion.

When I see the word assassination I think of like, a single, targeted precise attack on a certain person.. does it still count as an assassination if you just drop a shit ton of bombs in their area to kill them? What’s the threshold for an assassination instead of just blowing things the fuck up at you

  32. As the guy that dropped the bombs, how do you live with yourself after that? I get the point of killing the top bastard but all the civilians/inocents that died would haunt me every night.

    Killing the hostage to kill the kidnapper its hardly easy to sell.
