Coming from a longtime Manhattan resident: the cabs in London are much, much nicer, especially the new ones that can hold six people. They cost a bit more. It I would trade in a heartbeat.

There was an abandoned one in Forest Hill next to an abandoned butcher shop, was there for years, dunno if it’s still there now.
