  2. He told them all exactly what he was going to do starting Day One countless times. Project 2025 outlines everything that Trump and musk are doing today. I tried to explain to anyone crowing about Trump’s victory that the destruction of the government bureaucracy would cause irreparable harm, loss of benefits for tens of millions of Americans, sink the economy, significantly damage national security, and destroy the USA’s reputation and world standing. Their laughter is still echoing in my ears, but that laughter has turned to fear and outrage as the effects of these cuts start to hit them. The urge to say I told you so is unbearably strong, but I’ve managed to resist… So far.
