  1. > Jamie Lee Curtis presented the award, and when she opened the envelope, she read, “And the Actor goes to… the man who gave me covid at the Golden Globes: Colin Farrell.” Once up on stage, Farrell responded with, “Guilty as charged. But Brendan Gleeson fucking gave it to me! So I was just spreading the love.”

  2. Love it when actors just threw something from past when they get the attention. LOL

But colin handled it like boss 🤣

  3. How he’s matured as an actor over the years is awesome. Had had that weird phase but came out a better dude. His acting in The New World and True Detective Season 2 was pretty incredible.

Oh and in Horrible Bosses he showed how funny he can be. That deadpan coked up bulshitsu stuff… classic.

  4. I love Colin Farrell. He was such a wild child in the early days of his career, and he seems to have mellowed into such a great, cool dude.

  5. He was awesome in Penguin. I’ve had a soft spot for him as an actor over the years, he has great screen presence. If you’re looking for something a bit more sidelined than his usual stuff, check out Sugar on Apple TV. go in cold if you can, it an interesting show that goes in a direction you’re likely not expecting. 🙂

  6. Dudes incredibly talented. Glad he’s getting hardware.

  7. I didn’t like him until I watched the documentary about his son. Now I really like and respect him.

I’m glad he won, and have been meaning to watch the show.

  8. His catalogue over the past 15 years has been wildly good. Love seeing actors with range thrive in so many variety of roles. Good for him!

  9. I loved The Penguin, he’s great in it and I love to see it rewarded.

I also enjoy any time it wins because some of the TV podcasts I listen to, especially the “Prestige” ones, refused to finish watching it and insisted the show was not real “prestige television ‘, whatever tf that is, after like 2 episodes.

Happy for him, Miloti or the show any time it wins

  10. I love how much he cares about his son with disabilities. Obviously having a lot of income helps, but it’s quite heartwarming.

  11. His performance is incredible in The Penguin and I’ll have to check out all the recommendations of the movies he’s in. I actually pretty much only know him from his one episode in the TV show Scrubs lol. Loved him in it though, very funny and charming.

  12. I have loved him since I first saw him in Minority Report. He was great in Penguin and I LOVED him in Banshees of Inerishin.

  13. I’m surprised how good he is, never noticed him before the penguin

  14. I love him on screen, he’s a real gem . And, he’s also a good person. Congratulations to a fine actor!
