With Carnival season kicking off in Malta, a new national record has been set for a float.
Malta Records announced that the Lion Hearts Carnival Company set a new record for the largest float with the highest number of hydraulically operated levers in Section D of the Malta Carnival.
They said the float is 35 feet long, 20 feet wide and 38 feet tall when fully extended, and that a total of 14 levers were used.
The presentation of the record took place at the Ħamrun Carnival yesterday.
