Orban overplayed his hand. Hungary is not France/Germany. He needs to get in line or else his job will get much more difficult
Friendship ended with Hungary
I’m so disheartened by all of what’s happening. I can’t believe people here in Hungary are so stupid, so brainwashed that they cannot see what Orbán is doing to our country. They can’t see how he is robbing us, destroying everything and making us Putin’s puppet state. Worse yet, people will choose him again, and then there’ll be no hope left for our country.
I really can’t understand why hungarians don’t want to be a developed, western country. Why choose the east when you can choose stability and well-being? Orbán will manage to isolate us from all of Europe and we will end up getting kicked out of the EU and NATO. There’ll no one to defend us or stand up to us. We will become free targets of hostile nations (like Romania or Slovakia), who will be able to attack us without anyone coming to our defense. And why would the EU or NATO help us? We freely betrayed western values and chose russian aggression instead, despite having the possiblity to choose otherwise. Even Poland hates us now, and has severed contacts with us.
I’m really sad and feel hopeless. I, as a person can choose to leave of course, but that won’t make me feel better. My country is doomed and that makes me feel terrible. After so many years of tyranny, we had the opportunity to choose wisely, but it seems people can’t do that. We throw away every single opportunity over and over again and manage to choose the wrong side. Only this time, there will be no turning back. It’s such a sad, miserable, despairing situation to live through.
lol He has noticed just now? Come on, we know that you two needed each other to watch your back and prevent the EU from taking action against your abuse of power. And this won’t change any time soon, so this is just posturing
