  4. Going to be inside for 4 weeks, subject to appeal. He hasn’t been sacked, that’s down to whether a recall petition gets enough signatures. At least he’s not raking it in being in the jungle or big brother house. You never know, seeing what prison is like, even though he’ll be in the vulnerable prison wing, almost certainly, might make him a better human being an start campaigning for change in the prison system.

  5. How? If you go to prison on benefits or any workplace, you lose your money. Talk about one law for politicians and the rich and one law for ordinary British people.

  7. I feel like this is a weird way to frame it. It’s a democratically elected position, there is a democratic process to go through to ensure his voters want him removed. 

  8. Just curious – wasn’t ten weeks in prison a bit harsh, especially considering it’s his first offence, his public service record, and his age?
