Talk is cheap.
Please actually do something.

What does it mean? Update:
The words on the Ukrainian flag using google translate:
Ukraine must win the war!
Google translate for the complete quote:
Today marks the third anniversary of Vladimir’s #Putin attack on #Ukraine . Three years of war in Europe. Three years of death and suffering in Ukraine. We stand firmly by their side and do everything we can to support them in their right to self-defense and a just peace. For freedom. For peace. For the people of Ukraine. #Ukrainemustwin
I really hope this is where we are heading, Europe needs a leader that isnt afraid of putler. Scholz and Macron have been way to soft. And also they havent really been digging very deep into their pockets, that counts for a lot of Europe.
European countries need to dig deeper, and we need one of the big European countries to take the lead.
France spain and italy might aswell have sent Ukraine a box of socks with the amount of aid they have provided. Its embarassing. When Japan have provided more aid than some of the biggest European countries, then we really need to wake up.
Fuck yes Europe, let’s see how they can handle a 10 or 20 times stronger economy going medieval on their ass.
YES! Slava Ukraini! Heroyam slava!
Finally. This is the Germany Europe needs!
I hope this represents a step change in Germanys’ approach, that triggers a tidal wave of response from the wider European community. Ukraine must win, and Europe can and must help it do so. It would send a powerful message to both Trump and Putin and signal a willingness for Europe to pull together and defend ourselves and each other.
Right now, Ukraine needs all the help they can get. There are basically only two options:
1) Take Trump’s deal and lose huge mineral revenue, gift away territory to a dictator, and have your sovereignty questioned and played with by an emboldened Russia and have no tangible security guarantees or NATO membership. Chances are EU membership will be challenged and Ukraine will live under constant threat.
2) Fight on, and with increased European backing, continue grinding away at the Russians both on the fronts and behind the lines until their economy explodes or their military disintegrates or hopefully both and they’re forced to sue for peace. This option gives Ukraine its best chance of maintaining sovereignty and territorial integrity and having full control of its resources.
Only Ukraine can decide what it should do. The second option will cost more blood and ruin. But I can’t see any other way to make it out as intact and whole as a country. The right thing is for the rest of Europe to give Ukraine the resources it needs to decide how it wants to end the war, and on terms Ukraine regards as favorable.
Good Lord. Finally a clear strategic objective.
What are they for, if not hitting Russians?
Germany’s probably sending them that are almost out of date, so that they can actually do something useful.
Imagine. A world in which 2 of the main WW2 antagonists are now part of its leading defenders, and the largest defender is now one of the antagonists. But the fruits of the British Empire remain fast and firm. Historians down the line are going to wax billions of pages on the fall of America, grandly presided by America. I have no problem putting money on the line that there will not be a single competent historian who will have anything kind to say about Trump, and their words about the American people as a whole will likely be almost as scathing.
I know this is German, but my English brain really doesn’t like seeing “die Ukraine”
