The volume of trade in goods and services between Belarus and Russia reached record levels in 2024 – as stated by Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko at a recent meeting of the interdepartmental working group of the Belarusian and Russian economic departments, Economy Ministry reports



As noted by Ms. Abramenko, trade and economic co-operation between the two countries continues to strengthen. “By the end of 2024, the volume of mutual trade in goods and services reached record levels: $57.6bn (7.4 percent up). The volume of investments from Russia to Belarus amounted to $4.9bn. Net direct investments increased by 10 percent compared to 2023,” she said.


During the meeting, topical issues of Russian-Belarusian co-operation were also discussed with the participation of Russia’s regions.
