I *get* that the government shouldn’t be deporting people too readily, and there *might* even be a debate to be had on how we treat criminals like this, but don’t the people who represented this bloke realize that what he did is extremely vile by most people’s standards?
EDIT: People downvoting me, what part don’t you like? lol. The general sentiment on here (up to now) seems to be “good riddance”. But by going through “several appeals” it would only really have prolonged the worry of the woman in question here. Wouldn’t you argue that a system change to make it easier to deport may benefit people like this woman? Or perhaps the people downvoting me are more in support of preventing the deportation of people like this?
I wonder what he was imprisoned for four years for? Just stalking alone doesn’t seem to explain it.

I think they should be taken straight to the airport after serving a 4 year sentence, guilt has already been established.
You can’t say this shocking because he was asylum seeker
I don’t really approve of his face and name being published (deported or not), but as someone who’s been stalked, all I can say is” Good riddance!”.
I hope she can finally move on with her life now that the fucker is gone
Sad to think that there were probably some “lefty lawyers” who fought tooth and nail to prevent this deportation! The article does hint at it:
>The Home Office has confirmed Salih was eventually deported after several appeals.
Have a read of what this dude did with her cat, for example ([source](https://metro.co.uk/2019/07/27/woman-stalked-decade-stranger-decapitated-cat-left-doorstep-10472818/)). Pretty vile!
