How many people does anyone honestly believe are thinking… “Oh yes, I’m going to give this person my vote because they gave me a cheap arse ugly cup.”
I got a cheap pen the other day from a campaigner. He was well aware it was not going to win his party my vote, as I made it clear. I don’t have a vote. But I now do have a cheap pen.
At least cups and pens are useful, rather than the endless giveaway from all parties of leaflets (which, I guess they’re giving away as well) Which only add to the country’s ongoing waste recycling problems.
Impunity rules. Wasn’t she proven guilty just recently of doing something similar? If I remember correctly,it was the standards commissioner who fund her guilty.
This corrupt mp should just sit down and shut the fuck up and thank her lucky stars she’s not in jail let alone getting promoted.
We live in an interesting country. Taking €50,000 for your role in a property deal and not declaring the income as required by law has little real repercussions, but handing out sweets and mugs make you public enemy #1.
You would never blind me with silly mundane gifts, pens or a promise of a better wage.
I demand to see actions first
The only odd thing I see is that us men we don’t handover ties with the saying “man power” I am a warrior. Women’s day is sexist.
