Price went really high for some type of products, but not for all. For example Fazer chocolate is the new gold. A single chocolate bar now costs around 4,5 euro, out of this world 😅. While for common food (pasta, fruit, etc) I don’t see a huge difference to couple of years ago. As a matter of fact the inflation was quite steady in the last year. Personally I’m just avoiding those brands which doubled the price of their products, I can live without. Coop products in Prisma are good and cheap for example.
Is someone surprised that 2 corporations in duopoly are wildly profitable? Just go to Lidl as much as you can.
K market is really comically expensive. You can really count on that the exact same product is about 10% cheaper in S, always.
Well own Kesko shares then like I do instead of complaining.
Don’t give a shit about Chinesepropagandatimes news even if they are true.
Not really.
No, I know
”…market characterised by large quantities and low profit margins” is the line that tells why the situation is good for retailers. For consumers, the prices are not that different compared with prices in other EU countries, except on items that are more heavily taxes.
This is why I support Lidl. We need other grocery chains to enter the Finnish market & break this duopoly.
