2. This is hardly new. The BBC has been doing this [and defending the practice](https://www.thejc.com/news/bbc-defends-translating-jews-as-israelis-for-one-day-in-gaza-documentary-ubed86db) for years [EDIT: since at least 2015](https://www.thejc.com/news/bbc-stands-by-mistranslation-of-jew-in-gaza-documentary-rd8mfdzl), since it’s hard to make out the Palestinians as innocent victims when they’re spouting off about how they want to rip the heads off Jews.

3. A lot of clueless British non Arabic speaking protesters will loudly extort they merely dislike zionists but think Jews are ok whilst in full view of signs in Arabic stating they want to ethnically cleanse all Jews in the world.
