Every Ukrainian understands what Azerbaijan is facing today, but it doesn’t stop double standards of European countries. Azerbaijan has the same right to protect its lands as Ukraine. Both of them is same situation, you can’t support Ukraine and blame us for taking what’s ours.

There are no differences between russian backed armenian separatists in NK then russian backed separatists in Ukraine and Georgia.
Before someone cry at the comment:
1) Those separatists also call them “we are ancient owner of these lands”.
2) Those separatists also call them “we have rights of self determination” just like russian backed armenian separatists in Nk.
Just a note for europian people who has no idea about our region.
Japan is not allowed to go on any offensive war or conflict as their constitution prevents them from doing so. Russia still occupies Japanese lands (Kuril Islands are mentioned but Japan only demands 4 as a part of Hokkaido IIRC) so Japan would be more than right to retake those islands. Besides most of the garrisons there were sent to Ukraine to die for Putin. Russia’s garbage army is not the obstacle but the constitution is, which the previous Japanese prime ministers tried to revise.
Still it’d help to accelerate collapse of Russia. Fortunately not all people assume Russian ‘peacekeepers’ are the true natives of the invaded X land and Russia is right. Let’s hope Moscow Trials will be held. As for Kaliningrad, it should declare its independence from Russia and become Prussia People’s Republic (sounds familiar?) and Karabakh will be eventually derussified, either now tomorrow but it will happen.
Opening the new World War would scarcely help Ukraine.
This is not about declaring war but about stretching out Russia’s limited manpower, logistical, and financial resources. Danilov points out how in response to Japan’s statements Russia began military exercises in the Kuril region which consumes Russian military capacity and resources outside of Ukraine. Azerbaijan’s escalations are also similar in that they make it harder for Russia to move military assets from Armenia to Ukraine.
With that in mind NATO counties could:
Close the rail lines into Kaliningrad for maintenance so that Russia has to supply Kaliningrad exclusively by sea and air. Send NATO trainers and military supplies into Georgia, make Russia nervous about their occupation forces there. Reinforce the Baltics, Poland, and Norway so that Russia feels pressure to keep some troops in the neighborhood.
This is how you get Russia to feel that its existence is at risk. They promised nukes in that case if I remember correctly.
Those ideas might look… feasible in a world without nukes.
