The consumer confidence indicator in Slovakia fell slightly to -23.5 in February 2025 from -23.4 in the previous month, marking its lowest level since May 2023.
Sentiment weakened about the development of the general economic situation (-41.0 vs -40.7 in January) and the overall financial situation of households (-13.1 vs -13.0).
Additionally, concerns about future unemployment increased (20.5 vs 17.6).
Meanwhile, consumers’ perception toward savings improved (-19.5 vs -22.2).
