“Many in this audience employ Catholics, but I have not one about my place. Catholics are out to destroy Ulster…If we in Ulster allow Roman Catholics to work on our farms we are traitors to Ulster…I would appeal to loyalists, therefore, wherever possible, to employ good Protestant lads and lassies”
Too many uppity catholics getting good jobs, it’s gotta be stopped.
Why does he repeatedly refer to the “Irish Republic”, when that state ceased to exist _de facto_ in 1922, and the people who assert its continued existence _de jure_ are presumably not those with whom he would ordinarily politically align?
Morons are always seeking out a conspiracy.
See if yer a pradestint ye don’t want a republic…like Sir Roger Casement or Wolfe Tone.
