LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — If you’re looking for a new place to satisfy your sweet tooth in Lynchburg, you’re in luck.
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream opened its doors Thursday for its first day of business in the Hill City.
The new location is in the former TGI Friday’s building off of Timberlake Road.

Bruster’s Ice Cream was first founded in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania before branching out to many locations across the East Coast.
All of the ice cream is made in-house, fresh, every day.
There are over 150 different milk-based flavors of ice cream, including lactose-free options for those who are lactose intolerant, and 50 other flavors of sorbets, sherbets, and Italian ices.
They also serve artisan desserts made to order, including crunchy handmade waffle cones and bowls, customized sundaes, candy-filled blasts, ice-cold freezes, and thick milkshakes.
