.. but I want to know more about the place. I have some concerns, and I want you to help me if you have any insider information about the company.

(Posting this from a throwaway account.)

The job I'm applying for is mental health professional. (here are 2 listings for the job on cv.lv (one will expire soon): first job description, second job description)

Why am I making an anonymous post on Reddit?
This position of a mental health professional has been open for most of the last year, if not longer.. I've noticed this job listing being open quite regularly. I am wondering, if the problem for somebody staying long-term is because of the work specifics, problems within the company, or something else entirely?

Yes, I have searched the internet already on this. Looking for more specific feedback from real employees from Riga.

If anyone has insider information about Telus Riga, especially as it pertains to the job listing of mental health professional, please advise. If you want to not use your Reddit account to comment, feel free to leave an anonymous message on my anonymous google form.

TL;DR I'm considering a Mental Health Professional job at Telus Riga but I'm concerned about high turnover and am seeking insider insights on the work environment.

  1. I only remember their quote native language exam, thing was harder than the whole centralized exam and I didn’t pass it lol.

  2. As far as I know that company is basically a huge soulless outsource call center. Those generally tend to be quite toxic to work at.

  3. Don’t work in call centers unless you have to. Trust me.

  4. I am going to interview next week but for a different role, will tell you

So far I passed all the tests and it’s been fine

  5. I applied to something that turned out to be r/beermoney even though they advertised it as real job on cv.lv that thing was later transfered to telus (idk if they were bough, rebranded or what, i stopped soon after, but didn’t seem like anything else changed), the idea there was that they send you tasks to rate google search results, youtube content and such, paying hourly rate that only makes for a token sum since if you actually invest time in doing quality work they start sending you complaints about lying that you worked so long, i’ve also heard they moderate Facebook (though that story implied it is actual in office job), baisically it all seems like they offer web companies to outsource jobs to them, since they advertise this as freelance it is probably also not a real job.
