  1. As a Canadian, I hope he is only inviting him to give a warning in person to Trump.

  29. Fun fact: 90% of Canada is Crown land. As King of Canada, that all belongs to Charles III. Trump has been threatening to steal Charles’ property. I hope he does something about that, or Canada is about to become a Republic.

  36. It’s a predictable British strategy to role out the pomp and circumstance and make Trump feel he has special treatment. Ironically, the British may be the key for future US relationships with Europe.

  39. Starmer is playing Trump. He knows that the orange menace positively reacts to falttery and ego strokes, so this is something of a masterful move. Macron went in and played bad cop. Starmer is going in and playing good cop. In the end, this hopefully confuses the moron enough that he stops destroying everything in his path just because he didn’t get enough fries in his happy meal. And remember that there is no way that King Charles would extend an invitation to Trump without the government engineering it.
