  1. Submission Statement : The European Union plans to urge India to lower its high tariffs on cars and wine to boost trade, as it seeks to reduce its reliance on China, a senior official from the bloc said, ahead of a visit by the European Commission president to New Delhi.
    Echoing U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat of reciprocal tariffs, the official said the EU would press India to cut tariffs on some goods and broaden market access for its products, while offering flexibility on agriculture issues to expedite free trade agreement talks.

  2. Seems like the EU is wanting a lot from India, and not offering much in return.

  3. … EU asks India a lot and has accused them of buying Russian oil and funding the war when….they are buying oil and selling it to EU.

    EU directly funded the war through buying Russian oil for decades including after crimea…they even buy LNG right now…

    It’s abundantly clear how EU operates. They want to buy oil/gas from anyone while throwing the security implications onto its Baltic members or The USA through NATO. They then will simply blame any other country in thinly veiled xenophobia which works in enticing a majority of their population.

    How about they stop lecturing the rest of the world when they are the imperialistic nations and offer India a deal? You know stop treating them like they are colonized and offer them a mutually beneficial arrangement?

  5. One of their biggest customers is about to walk away so theyre looking for new ones. Theyll be hard pressed to find any other consumption based economies.
