What’s this one? Doesn’t look like the Scott Mills Bridge…?
Shame about the weather, could have done with some more grey clouds and maybe a touch of light drizzle to really set the mood…
Whenever I see one of these bridges now I think of THE PIES (no idea who the pies are, guessing a band?)
Not a patch on the iconic Forton tower (services are still shite tho!)
The Medway services have a bridge like this, good for some arm pumping

Almost as iconic as the Bude tunnel!
it used to be the way that the actual services were only on one side, and there would be a bridge like this across from the parking on the other side. (I might be talking a lot of years ago.)

As a kid used to meet cousins there and one service parents would be shot of kids for a week so we’d spend a week up north and a week down south.
I always weirdly liked the services and now when I drive past I sing Newport Pagnell to the tune of crazy horses
Amazing that they made all these and then the motorways came and connected them all
