  1. Trump still talks about 350 billion. Someone should correct him about that.

America’s military, financial and humanitarian support for Ukraine amounts to approximately 119 billion Euros/Dollars, which is significantly less than the EU and the individual European countries have given Ukraine. The real value of the weapons and ammunition from America, some of which were 40 years old, is also not entirely clear. Trump will certainly have taken the new value and then multiplied the sum by 2 or 3.

  4. Why don’t U.S. journalists correct him promptly?

    He’s been caught barefaced lying *twice* on camera, after being corrected now twice on his blatant disinformation by people who know these facts very well.

    Europe wont “get their money back” and the U.S. hasn’t given anywhere near 350 billion dollars.

    Yeah, he’s a complete idiot, yeah he lies more than he speaks the truth, but he won’t stop or lose listeners until he gets corrected immediatly. If he gets a clean getaway, he will just spin it in his favor or drown it out in noise afterwards.

  17. As an Irishman, I usually reserve praise across the pond. However, I am very impressed with Starmer and his vocal stance on Ukraine at the moment. It’s no Macron putting him in his place, but I love that European leaders are not just sitting nodding along to this baffoon.
