  2. This is a strange thing to ask, do you have nothing better to do?

  3. I don’t know why you’re being downvoted. The people in this sub really have a stick up their ass sometimes. I would also like to know how this works even if it’s silly. Do they give the driver a random skin color? Is it always brown? Is it something a driver can choose (though it would be weird to ask for skin color)?

  4. Yes most of them are of immigrant background so Wolt can pay them like sh*t. It’s pretty sad, honestly.

  5. Is it by default ? Am not able to see from my delivery app or is this latest updates ?

  6. As far as I know, couriers can’t select their appearance on their end, I believe the delivery app randomly shows one of a variety of appearances. The same courier doesn’t always have the same appearance either, just a random one assigned each time they log in and start their deliveries.

  7. I wonder where most delivery drivers come from – India, Pakistan? There must be so many different stories behind why they ended up here. It’s interesting to think about why someone would travel all the way to Finland to work as a food courier. That being said, as a native Finn, I’ve only ever worked low-wage jobs myself, so I can’t really judge.

  8. So when there is no representation of people of color, it is wrong

When there is, it is also wrong?

  9. Most of them are brown skinned (at least in the capital city area) so it would only make sense to have it default to brown. I think I’ve had a white guy deliver me food like once or twice in eight years or so.

  10. both me and my girlfriend drive for wolt, we are both white, i get comments all the time on our cars and people are generally surprised to see us, so for a character symbol it makes sense for it to be a brown guy on a bicycle, that is factually the majority of the work force, i was the only white person in my local wolt group chat that had over 100 members
