Julia Roberts received one of France’s highest honors on Friday. She was given the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in English), a prestigious French honor that recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts and literature. The medal was pinned on her by France’s minister of culture Rachida Tati.

For the honor, Roberts wore a light blue suit by Stella McCartney. The look included an oversize cropped jacket. The piece was asymmetric, featuring wide lapels, and did not include a button. The jacket also included a longer silhouette in the back. The trousers are high-rise pleated wool pants and she wore a white button-down cotton shirt.
Roberts also wore gray Roger Vivier pumps with a large buckle on the vamp. The buckle is a signature of the brand. She carried a Roger Vivier Viv Choc clutch, which also featured a rounded metal buckle.
Elizabeth Stewart styled Roberts. Stewart also works with Amanda Seyfried, Elizabeth Olsen, Jessica Chastain and Cate Blanchett, among others.

Roberts joins other names like Blanchett and Meryl Streep, who have been recognized with honors for making significant contributions to art and culture.
Roberts received an honor of another sort recently. Last month, at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, Ayo Edebiri channeled the actress on the red carpet. Edebiri worked with stylist Danielle Goldberg on a custom Loewe suit inspired by a gray Giorgio Armani suit Roberts wore to the Golden Globes in 1990.
