The US has just gambled away any form of respect and trust that was built over decades. The US is and will be considered unreliable, untrustworthy, transactional. I happily, as a European, accept higher taxes and economic burdens to a) help Ukraine and b) decouple from the US. At all levels that are currently realistic.
