  1. These are whats known as “Golden Visas”. Every single country in the world sells them if you give them enough money. For instance New Zealand just lowered the cost of theirs to $5 million also. Guess Trump is trying to stay competitive.

    Golden Visas are carried by wealthy people as a “insurance policy” so they can escape to another country if the shh hits the fan in theirs, or they have legal issues, whatever.

    For instance, if I went to say Termikistan, or any of the “Stans” and someone there steals my passport or maybe the officials confiscate it and try and hold me for ransom or whatever, if I can get to the border with another passport from another country, that may be just enough to get me in or out of whatever I am trying to do. It may very well also be used for legal stuff to like paying less taxes.
