The United Kingdom is ready to send its troops to Ukraine to guarantee a peace agreement – British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The official stressed that it is necessary to achieve a peace that would make it impossible for Russia to attack Ukraine in the future.

  8. Poland should just find a Russian drone, say it crashed into a house and call up article five. Once polish and euro troops start moving into Ukraine the Russians will just claim they got what they wanted and don’t want a war with NATO and pull back. Because at this point, Krasnov is like one more call with Putin away from supplying arms and aid to Russia.

  12. European armies are too small, quite well equipped, highly trained but the numbers aren’t there, they have had three years to ‘pull their finger’ out and only now are they acting. Well behind the curve.

  19. The UK could probably provide 4000 troops on a continuous rotation to support Peace operations. It would be exhausting for the Army though.

    We would need to retrain 3 Brigades to support 12 & 20 Armoured Brigade, Light Mech just won’t cut it. We would also need drastically more artillery, engineers, logistics and signals. If the Government is unwilling to lose Cap Badges then a lot of infantry will have to re-roll. This is the only option without drastically increasing our size (which just isn’t going to happen!)

  20. Better send it now and get the balls rolling before you guys need to send more than what you need to send now in few years time.

    I am pretty sure if any European nation started to help Ukraine militarily with boots on the ground, the other European countries will start to do the same. Just need someone to start first
