  1. SS: The impact and implications of Presidents Trump and Zelensky’s meeting are examined in this article. Trump’s harsh criticism of Zelensky have prompted European leaders to speak up and show support of the latter in a show of solidarity. Meanwhile, such actions from the US President hurts the country’s image and reputation worldwide.

  2. An absolute disgrace of an American president. And Vance was even worse. Both could have aired grievances (if they had any honest ones and weren’t just looking for an excuse to kick Zelensky out) in a polite and professional way. But that was never the plan, tovarich.

  3. I wonder how all the former presidents are feeling about this

  4. None of this should have happened in front of television. All three- yes all three did not show restraint.

  5. it is displeasing to read that some EU officials expected Zelensky to have behaved better and not took the bait, and should have followed how Macron reacted with those lies and unsavory comments from Krasnov??,

Simple explanation? Zelensky and Ukraine are far different in situation NOW than the rest of EU countries. It his country being attacked, and Krasnov thinks so little of Zelensky compared to UK and French heads of states. These EU officials can say that easily because they are not the country at war now whose people are dying as we speak. Most importantly, can EU stop with the hypocrisy and hiding behind the truth?? They would not support Ukraine (yet still not as rigorous), if they dont use Ukraine as a pawn and buffer against Russia’s invasion of Europe. They are so afraid to be at war with Russia that Ukraine is their most convenient protection against Russia. On the part of US (not including Krasnov), they use Ukraine as a proxy war against Russia, in order to contain the latter and prevent it from dominating the region. If it happens, that is bad for US perceived geopolitical leadership/dominance.

Ukraine is the only and ultimate victim here against Russia, US and EU yet they all want to throw them under the bus when necessary and convenient? This is not to mention that EU is so afraid of Russia yet they dont have that military defense in sufficient numbers to go toe to toe with Russia. Ukraine has the biggest military force in Europe with 980k and France as a distant 2nd which is 4x smaller than Ukraine. So, even if Ukraine needs EU, the later need Ukraine more as territorial protection. That comment by EU officials that Zelensky should have handled it better? Who is Zelensky and Ukraine them? That is some serious display of colonialistic behavior.
