  1. “Insulting to Unionists”

Hang on til I write the world’s saddest sonnet on the world’s smallest piece of vellum.

  2. Hearbreaking – The Worst Person You Know Just Correctly Described Bono’s Poem.

Nancy Pelosi though, she’s in the Ra.

  3. This is the shower we’d be attempting to deal with in a united Ireland.

Do your head in from here even.

  4. American here – is this article not satire? It reads like it’s straight out of our satirical newspaper “the onion.”

  5. “Former politician, desperately clinging to her last shred of relevance, writes article critical of Irish culture and Joe Biden in newspaper owned by influential Russian Oligarch.”

  6. Sure wouldn’t the orange order only be delighted to welcome nationalists dressed in green into the 12th of July celebrations.

  7. Born in Ireland raised in the states, Paddy’s day here is the absolute worst. Have disliked it for many years now. And now my little guy is in school & told me if he doesn’t wear green on paddy’s day then a leprechaun will pinch him. I laughed along with it cos he’s 6, but very cringe.

  8. I’ll say it again, Arlene and people like her (unionists) are furious that irish traditions and culture thieves and are celebrated across the world including huge celebrations across the uk, meanwhile unionist cancer culture is hated, thankfully these people are dying off

  9. I’m not saying she’s wrong. I know that the traditions in America were started in this way because the catholics weren’t aloud to celebrate in Ireland and the tradition persists. They weren’t given very polite treatment in America either. The original St Patrick’s cathedral in lower Manhattan has walls around it to protect it from the people that hated catholics. If the feelings of exclusion have changed over time, then maybe there’s a bigger problem… historically?

  10. The fact that Arlene thinks that anyone in American politics gives her even the slightest whiff of consideration when they think about the world shows how utterly out of touch with reality she is.

  11. Foster – “We’re not Irish”

Also Foster – “why don’t you include us in the international celebrate being Irish day?”

  12. Arleen is a pretty strong Celtic, Irish name. She considers herself British but lives in Ireland. She is loyal to a country that mostly does not want them and considers them a burden. She’s a member of the Church of Ireland which is an autonomous province of the Anglican Communion.

Imagine identifying as French, then going to live in Spain and complaining about everything being too Spanish. lol

  13. Ah now… you cannot call yourself british and then claim that your national saint is the Irish one. now don’t get me wrong your it is national saint, because you are from northern Ireland and therefore not British

  14. What a stupid pretentious bitch I am not Irish I’m a prot Ulster person but I understand that half ish of NI want to celebrate an Irish holiday so I Mind my own business lol 😂
