As a savage 🇺🇸 who feels he has lost his country, it’s good to see the UK 🇬🇧 land on the right side of history – again.

It’s nice to see some things never change ❤️🇬🇧

  1. If I was Prime Minister I’d ask Zelensky if he fancied going for a pint. There’s a few decent pubs on Whitehall.

  2. UK 🤝 France

    – Hating each other while in peace
    – Fighting side by side in WW

  3. Big Chazza (The King) seems to be doing his part, meeting President Zelenskyy tomorrow and buttering up Trump with an invitation for a state visit. Its good to see our head of state doing some diplomacy too.

  4. Funny that after that bullshit from Trump, Starmer immediately invited Zelensky over. Meanwhile, [the chancellor has announced plans to send money from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.](https://i.imgur.com/XeFxZzC.png)

Good response. I hope we and the rest of Europe can ramp up arms production, though. Money on its own is less useful.

Build a fucking Storm Shadow factory in my back garden if that’s what it takes.

  5. Even tho I hate all of you deeply, as we all do each other, I’ve never been more proud to be European! Slava Ukraini!

  6. That’s his cock he’s touching, with his other hand

  7. What’s going on here, please can someone post something about balconies before I get too big for my boots?🇬🇧❤️🇺🇦

  8. I must say the brits really outdone themselves, they really are true friends of Ukraine!

  9. I watched the UK USA announcement on Friday feeling good about Trumps speech thinking hey we’re all going to be alright after all, he’s got a deal with Russia we’re going to calm everyone down we aren’t going to be drafted to die in a field somewhere. Starmer gave an absolute W speech. “Winners fucking win and when the USA and UK work plan and fight together all we do is win.” Pretty much sums it, so some really hopeful messaging, was a little sketchy about Trump mentioning the rare earth mining rights but it’s like part of the deal I guess? Makes sense so they don’t have to do it monetarily I guess..

THEN. that shit show happened. I genuinely felt like I was in a black mirror episode. Watching two hooligans dog pile a war time president in his third language about how ungrateful??? he is?? Absolutely shell shocked, couldn’t believe what I saw and heard. Genuinely sold it for me, I’ve always had reservations about American politics but I’m absolutely convinced now. What a fucking clown show. Literally turned the USA into Russia 2.0 with its agenda except it’s going to do so diplomatically and economically. They don’t have to invade if they cut off Ukraine’s economy😔

Get us back in the EU and let’s put this bear down. EU army, sanctions on the US, tighten our ties with Africa and the Asian steppes. Get a central space agency going with a couple other mega projects

If we can get a fairly decent push on the front lines in Ukraine get a peace deal even if brief and then swaddle Ukraine into nato under the peace deal then we’re sorted. If Russia comes again, article 5 and Geneva suggestions. Poland Canada and Finland can get their checklists out

  10. Brits wanting to add their fookin canton in the flags of Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts.

    Love it.

  11. Barry, this is coming from Pierre.
I fucking hate you and love you at the same time.

But really, I miss you in the EU club.

  12. Upvoted. Glad to see there are still a few decent americans.

  13. After that shit show yesterday, that poor fucker must be the most in-need-of-a- hug person on the planet.

  14. God that’s got me right in the feels, right side of history again Bazza

  15. Starmer is going for a good old fashion British greeting with his right hand

  16. This moment made me feel so good after all the anger, frustration and anxiety of the past 24 hours…. Thank you, Barry (but I got really mad at Rutte again)

  17. Sometimes it feels like the world is regressing and Trump and his goon’s actions yesterday left me feeling really unsettled. It’s encouraging, however, to see Keir’s reaction to Zelensky. In fact, the united front most of Europe’s leaders have put on has been very encouraging.

  18. The downside of all this is that it’s going to ruin this sub if we all stop being dicks to each other.

  19. Unpopular opinion but i will wait and see what, not only the uk but all the european countries, will do for Ukraine now without the US. Taking out the hugs and the politeness, essentially what will they do? Will the 🇬🇧 go against the USA for the first time in its recent, post World War II history? Now that UK is out of the european union and desperate to actually have more relations with US, will they sacrifice this economic/geopolitical prospect for ukraine? lets see first.

Are we too fast to rejoice? Are we too arrogant believing we are better and we CERTAINLY will do the right thing? I hope so but not convinced yet. Only time will prove which countries truly mean the solidarity, by actions. The hard difficult actions, not the symbolic ones.

  20. The next world leader to host Zelensky had better pick him up at the airport

  21. In the words of our great wartime leader Sir Cliff Richards

    “Zelensky may be a c@nt, but he’s our c@nt”

  22. Is Keir giving him a bit of a tug – the old ‘Starmer Charmer’?
