  2. The sad state of the USA is that the assholes voting against (or in this case for) Zelenskyy are running (in this case ruining) this country.

    To the sane 92 percent, let me say it in the words of the orange menace. “Fight! Fight! Fight!”

    Fight for your country or it will be gone within the next four years. Trump is not your president. Vance is not your vice-president. Musk is not a part of your government. They are the enemies of the UNITED States, not your friends in Europe and not the citizens of Ukraine. Stay strong and fight for your freedom from trumpublican tyranny.

If you saw the full over hour long video there should be a fourth option there : the Reporters who spent an hour during that press conference trying to provoke Zelensky and Trump to spar publicly and ultimately succeeded. They wanted their great media moment and they got it, at the cost of Ukraine being a free country.

  5. Most Americans don’t support Russia either. I think a lot of people don’t understand that what Trump is doing goes against all US foreign policy dating back to the 1940s. Republicans historically have been more anti Russian than anyone. What Trump is doing is completely unprecedented. Old school Republicans like Ronald Regan, Bush Senior, etc would have had a stroke if they witnessed what was going on.

  6. Putting aside who started it (we all know it was Vance), Zelensky was a guest there and Trump with Vance were hosts.

    It is a host’s resposiblity to control the situation and keep the guest comfortable.

    Both Trump and Vance had multiple occasions yesterday to lower the temperature and end this in a peaceful and respectful way. They chose not to and it was their intentional decision which only brings even more shame on them (and the US which they both represent).

  29. This poll actually gives some hope. Today I was watching some cnn discussion and on the panel were actually some people who were saying that Zelenski was actually at fault, where he was asking one question directed towards JD Vance.

    And I was like are you serious cnn? You actually try to frame this in any way that this was the fault of Zelenski?? Fucking mind blown how they literally have zero empathy what Ukraine is going through at the moment, and for the last 3 years. Pretty sure non of them know what Ukraine had to endure in terms of warcrimes that happened because of Putin.

    Lets atleast acknowledge that Zelenski has absolutely zero respect or emphathy towards Putin. That is to be expected atleast from Ukranian perspective

  32. I am a European who has absolutely no love for Krasnov and that other go to his right but this is a non-representative internet poll, even if it is a somewhat unbiased site where it was hosted.

    That is some pretty low level reporting talking about non-representative polls without labeling them at least prominently as such.

    I’d love to see some representative survey in the days or weeks to come on that topic. It would really interest me, how much in line Republican voters are already with the now official propaganda line straight out of Moscow.

    Imo both are responsible for this. Because without JD the discussion could maybe remain at least relatively civil, but without trump and his ignorance, lies and general attitude towards Zelenskyy there would be nothing to argue about in the first place

  44. Trump orchestrated this. Vance acted like that under Trumps instructions. Same with the suit question. This whole thing was a premeditated ambush. Ergo, it absolutely was not caused by Zelenskyy.

  45. This poll means nothing to MAGA. They will just say the numbers are manipulated because Fox News could run the same poll and it would be 80% Zalensky was at fault and obviously to them Fox News is the only unbiased news organization that tells it like it is.

I believe that so much of the divide created has been based on Trump knowing it will get what he wants.  I believe this in part from reading about how long groups like the Heritage Foundation have been trying to accomplish this.  I also believe that normal citizens regardless of party affiliation are still united because we understand what Russia is. Russia does not have the best interests of America or Ukraine or Europe.  Americans know how dangerous it is to let that go.  If we do not stop Russia but instead embrace Putin, this will not lead to good things for the country or the world.  

    We look more embarrassing by the day with the way these men in government are behaving.
