Long story short, was borrowing a set of wine glasses from a friend and broke one. Need to replace it asap. Does anyone know at least which brand it is and where could I possibly buy it?

Measured the capacity and it holds around 175-200ml when full to the edge.
No brand name or anything like that is visible on glasses and ChatGPT or searching for crystal wine glasses was not helpful.

Ps please don’t tell me to tell them I broke their wine glass. It’s one and I really prefer to replace it instead. After bought since I’ll be having five extra I’ll tell them.

  5. Because of the design, I believe this belongs to fhe style of Czech Republic Crystal Wine Cup. Which are made with natural crystal. Go find them on google I sure some cheaper options would appear

  6. So… you’re most likely screwed. These glasses are often in crystal and aren’t necessarily widely made.

    Most I’ve seen are heirlooms or “antique”, though not necessarily with a high value, but not widely available.

    Easiest way really is to ask them where the glasses are from, as much as you want to hide it. I don’t think you’ll get them in shops. 2nd hand is probably where you’ll find them.

  15. You can search for RCR style white wine glasses but you’ll quickly see there are thousands of them. You need to ask. But also a person who is sensitive about their tableware won’t lend you their favorite or something. They can easily break during transport too. I’m sure it’s a set they don’t mind. Or they just generally don’t mind.

  17. Honestly, I have a separate, cheap set of wine glasses for larger parties or for when friends need to borrow them. They are from Ikea, I kept the original packaging to store them, if you break one, you can easily find more.

    My point is: I would not lend something as easily broken as things made of glass to a friend if I had a deep emotional attachment to it. 😉
