  21. This is how to deal with these people. I always say everyone involved needs to know they and their loved ones will never know a normal life. Can’t go to restaurants. Can’t enjoy public spaces. Make it so their life is nothing more than living in private spaces.

    For Trusk, they can live a life without interacting with people. For almost everyone else down the chain, don’t give them a moment of peace.

  27. I am from Vermont. There was no ambush. People were politely lined up on the sides of the road. No one jumped out in front of the dude.

    Word travels fast in small towns. Everyone knew he was coming about a week before he arrived. There was already multiple protests being organized, including one down in Warren Village at the Inn they had reserved for the weekend is. As the protest talk grew louder and as people started mobilizing, the Secret Service pulled the plug and the Vance’s were forced to find a private rental in an “undisclosed location”…well again, within 10 minutes of his arrival on Friday night, his location was known to those who wanted it…so nobody was getting anywhere near him. Now, when he drove to go skiing this morning, that is a different story, groups of protesters small and large lined the roads and waved Ukrainian flags and various signs of protest. At the ski mountain itself, which is located on national forest land, people were able to protest at the bottom of the mountain in view of the ski lifts he used, and near to the lodge area they had secured away for his private use…and then again on his way back after skiing more groups with signs and flags here and there, and more is planned for tomorrow, we intend to make sure Vance knows that he is not welcome in our community.
